Saturn, Jupiter and the Moon Flying J Ranch Park Friday, October 15 7 to 9 p.m. View Saturn and Jupiter through a telescope and discover more about these stunning planets. We will also take a look at our closest celestial neighbor, the moon. Weather permitting. All ages. The program will meet at the main Flying J Ranch Trailhead at 9661 County Highway 73, Conifer, CO 80433. There will be a 1/3 mile moderate walk along an unpaved service road to get to the night sky viewing location. Please arrive on time. Additional Program Details: This is a nighttime outdoor program. Dress warmly and in layers. Cold weather clothing is a must due to chillier temperatures at the park's elevation of 8100 feet. Wear sturdy hiking boots/walking shoes. Please bring a flashlight and/or red light headlamp to light your way. Restrooms are located at the the trailhead. Please leave pets at home.
