Watercolors are easy to hike and travel with which makes them a great tool for recording nature observations in your journal. Explore the basics of this medium including materials, techniques and color mixing.   

This program will take place indoors at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center (with an option for participants to venture outdoors near the building if they wish). Masks are not required, but we will have surgical masks available for those who would be more comfortable with a face covering.

All ages. Instruction will be geared for adults, but children who are interested in art are welcome to attend with an adult. Parents, please make sure to monitor your children's energy and interest levels during club outings to ensure that their behavior is conducive to a positive learning environment for everyone.

For the comfort of fellow participants, please leave pets at home. We will send out an email if the program needs to be changed or cancelled due to hazardous weather. If inclement weather is predicted, please check your email frequently so cancellation notices are not missed. Registration for this program is available one month before the date of the program.
