  2. Nature Journaling: Sketchbook Nature Basics

    January 26, 2019, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Lookout Mountain Nature Center

    Strengthen your personal connection with the natural world by keeping a sketchbook nature journal. This session will cover journaling fundamentals and will be a great opportunity for newcomers to develop basic drawing skills and find out more about materials. Afterwards, head outside to practice your journaling skills along the trails.

  3. Winter Jr. Rangers: Then & Now

    Come join the Jefferson County Open Space Rangers to learn what it was like to be a ranger 100 years ago compared to rangers today. The event will start with hot cocoa and a hot dog roast. Then kids will attend each guided station and earn their Jr Ranger badge at the swearing in ceremony.
