Transportation and Construction Girl is committed to expanding career opportunities for young women, supporting equity for young women, enhancing young women’s self-esteem and helping to meet the workforce shortage in construction.
September 28th starts with fun and cool exhibits from 8:30am-1:30pm at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
Exhibits will include: heavy equipment like excavators, cranes, scissor lifts, flight simulator, ex¬cavator simulator, heavy equipment operator simulator, welding ex¬hibit, survey equipment, drones, computer traffic programs, paint simulator, masonry demo, solar panel installation and more. Box Lunches to Go are also provided at no cost to attendees.
Attendance for girls is free. However, they must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or school representative. Schools that want to bring a group should email email@example.com
