Jefferson County is working on its strategic plan for 2022 and beyond.
A strategic plan serves to set priorities, focus energy and resources, and to ensure we’re working toward common goals for the betterment of the county. This plan also keeps the county accountable for measurable outcomes and results. We will track progress so we can adapt our direction in response to ever-changing environments. This work is especially timely because we – and really the whole world – are adjusting to new COVID norms and expectations. We’re working to become even more efficient and effective.
As we begin work on the 2022 budget, we’ll use our strategic plan objectives and outcomes to guide the use of funds. Additionally, we will have federal stimulus dollars to provide services and funds to those impacted by COVID. We will leverage this assistance to get the Jeffco economy not only back up and running, but sustainable. For more about the strategic plan and the latest updates, see the Jefferson County Strategic Plan web page.
Throughout the year, the Commissioners recognize significant contributions of Jefferson County organizations, businesses, residents or events through proclamations.
Visit our Proclamation page to make a request and view those proclaimed.
