1. What is YourJeffco?

YourJeffco is a citizen engagement platform that allows citizens of unincorporated Jefferson County to submit road maintenance requests or questions via a Smartphone app, the Jefferson County website, and the website citizen portal.

This software will be helpful in multiple ways. YourJeffco works hand-in-hand with our asset management system to automate citizen request tasks so they are assigned directly to the crew that is responsible for the maintenance. In doing so, it eliminates a process that includes a customer service representative taking and entering the request and a supervisor from creating a task in our asset management system. This allows the supervisors to be out with the crews more often and is very relevant now that we are experiencing significant manpower shortages.

2. How will YourJeffco benefit citizens of Jefferson County?

The YourJeffco app and web portal has several benefits for the county's citizens, business owners and visitors:

• Promotes citizen engagement.
• Provides convenience for citizens to report road maintenance requests or inquiries directly from their smartphone, mobile app, or online.
• Allows the citizen to track the progress of their issues with updates via text, email, or phone as requests are addressed and resolved.
• Enables the citizen to interact with staff and find answers they need via a knowledge base.
• No citizen request for service is lost or forgotten as staff can easily manage, respond to, close, and report on service requests, thereby enhancing local government effectiveness and efficiency.

3. How much did YourJeffco cost?

YourJeffco included a one-time cost of $75,023 for the Software as a Service (Saas), Cartegraph integration license fee and mapping. The annual renewal is $720.
