Is there an appeals process for mobile homeowners who feel their valuation is incorrect?

All property owners, including mobile homeowners, have the right to appeal their valuation to the Assessor by June 8th.

*In August 2023,  approximately 350 mobile/manufactured homeowners received their notice of value (NOV)  which reflected a property valuation above $28,000, however, incorrectly stated they remained under exempt status. In September 2023, the Jefferson County Assessor's Office sent letters indicating there had been a mistake with these notices, which the department has asked the Board of Equalization (BOE) to correct, and these property owners will have the right to appeal to the Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA) *
