Educational Training Voucher (ETV)

  • Annual federal grant provided to states for youths who have aged out of the foster care system and are enrolled in college, university, or vocational training programs 
  • Up to $5, 000
  • Must enrolled before 21st birthday and can continue to receive support until age 25
  • Eligibility: 
    • Youth must be in foster care or adopted from foster care after age 16 or has aged out of foster care
    • Must have a High School diploma or GED
    • Must be accepted into or enrolled in a Title Iv, accredited college or vocational/technical training program
