There’s still time to file your taxes!
If you missed the tax day deadline or got an extension, you can still file your taxes to get thousands in cash back that can help you take care of yourself and your family. Colorado families can still file their taxes to get up to $3,600 per child through the Child Tax Credit. Colorado residents can still file their state tax return to make sure they get an extra $750 cash back this fall through the Colorado Tax Rebate.
The Child Tax Credit is a federal income tax credit that helps families make ends meet. Unlike other tax credits, you do not need to make any income to qualify for and receive CTC payments. All you need to do is file a simple tax return by October 17, 2022 to get your payments.
