We Hope You Had an Excellent Father's Day!

Whether it’s your dad, uncle, brother, grandpa — anyone who has been a father figure to you — you want to make sure you express your love and gratitude for him. But being a Dad doesn’t have one definition.

Sending love to…

Those who lost their dad.
Dads who lost their children.
Those unable to have a child.
Those who don’t know their dad.
Those who foster or adopt.
Dads who play the role of Mom too.
Dads with illness or disability.
Those longing to be a Dad.

And anyone who needs it this Father’s Day!

For Fatherhood Services check out the Human Services Responsible Fatherhood Program which provides education and coaching for fathers and mothers who want to support the best interest of their children. Free and Low Cost Internet Service

The Federal Communications Commission announced that 20 of the nation's internet providers have committed to lowering costs for low-income households, a step that will essentially provide free high speed internet for those participating the Affordable Connectivity Program. For Colorado residents to get their share of the funding, families need to sign up for themselves.

The Foundation for Excellence in Education has developed resources to assist districts in sharing the program with families who may qualify for this free/reduced priced internet service. The flyers and social media images in the toolkit are designed so districts are able to place their logo on both the Summer and Back to School campaigns before sharing.

See the Affordable Connectivity Program website for additional information.
