Dina & her family!

Welcome Dina, JPP's newest coach!

Dina just recently joined the team and wanted to introduce herself! You'll get a chance to meet her in the Learning Groups and potentially during your next coaching visit!
----
My name is Dina Eledge, and I have lived in Arvada my entire life. Fun fact – my husband and I met 35 years ago when we were both students at Arvada High School. We’ve been married for 32 years. We’re empty-nesters with a sweet rescue dog named Cherriblossym.

I have two grown sons, Lee (age 30) and Adrian (age 25). My older son lives in Westminster with his beautiful fiancée Margarita, and the younger one lives in south Denver. No grandchildren yet, but maybe someday soon.

My hobbies are swimming, reading, and Paint-By-Sticker books, which are like Paint-By-Number books, but with stickers that create beautiful mosaic pictures.

As a former tobacco-cessation coach, I am very passionate about physical, emotional and mental health and wellness, as well as helping people create lasting behavior change. My last job was working at Mile High United Way’s 2-1-1, so I love providing resources to help people thrive.

I am also very passionate in the areas of career development and relationship-building. A few years ago, I volunteered at Denver Women’s Correctional Facility as a decision-making coach helping women thoughtfully prepare for their upcoming release from prison.

I am SO excited to be part of the JPP family and to get to meet and work with all of you!

---------------------

1.  Always Stay Positive (ASP)
Life is just easier with a positive attitude.  Think of a friend or family member who lives a truly positive life.  Have you ever seen him/her in a bad mood?

2.  Focus on Self Improvement-Move Forward!

Challenge yourself in new areas and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.  That’s the only way to learn something new.

3.  Be of Service to Others
Always remember that the most basic and fundamental way to be of service to others is to treat all people with respect, courtesy and dignity.

4.  Be Productive Everyday-Get Something Done!
Something small, something big, just get something done! Develop good habits. Set goals and follow through.

5.  Enjoy Life-Have Some Fun!

A kid’s job is to have fun.  As adults we often forget how to have fun.  What do you do that gives you that “fun” feeling, that feeling you remember as a kid?

Valentine's Day Craft

Fun Valentine's Day Craft!

Help your child make a Valentine's gift to show someone love!

This adorable Valentine balloon craft is made with only a few supplies! You can even modify the balloons by drawing your own, using heart stickers or make fingerprint hearts.

You'll need:

-- Paper Roll – either a paper towel roll or toilet paper roll will work
– Paint – red or pink paint (recommended: acrylic paint)
– Photo – you’ll need to take a picture of your child pretending to hold balloons. Then print off the photo, perhaps at Walgreens or off a printer.

– White Paper or Cardstock
– Ultra fine point sharpie or black pen
– Glue stick

Find the full directions here! Enjoy!
