Are you interested in applying for grant funding to upskill or retrain your current employees?

Employer Talent Development Program grants are focused on short term staff training that is work-based, virtual, and/or classroom training that increases the competitiveness of the employee and the employer.  This a unique opportunity for businesses and non-profits In Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties to leverage grant funding to invest in their current employees. 

Training ideas that might make sense for your teams:

  • Excel basics and/or Excel Advanced workshops
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion workshops
  • Conflict Resolution, Time Management, Project Management, Leadership workshops
  • Health & Mental Wellness workshops
  • Certificate programs available through Front Range Community College (just a few listed below)

Do you have open full time positions that you are trying to fill? Allow us to help you find the right talent. Training funding may be available. We will help promote and schedule introductory interviews with motivated job seekers. 
 
The Jefferson County Business and Workforce Center is providing secure, in person introductory interviews at our office in Golden CO.

Between the hours of 10am and 12pm we will help schedule 15 minute interviews with interested job seekers to help fill your open positions. 

All industries and opportunity levels are welcome. 

The next interview day is scheduled for Thursday, January 20th, 2022

The Jefferson County Board of Health voted to require masks in local government buildings for individuals ages 2 and older. 

The Public Health Order became effective on Saturday, Oct.9 at 12am and applies to all county and municipal government buildings. It will remain in effect until Jefferson County has experienced at least 21 consecutive days in CDC’s moderate or low transmission categories.
