Celebrating JPP Graduates!

Yulisa

We celebrate Yulisa! Yulisa has made some big moves and achieved so much since joining JPP in 2019! She and her family joined JPP with goals in the areas of education, employment, and economic stability. Yulisa completed an internship with ReMax in her time with JPP. Yulisa also got married in February – congratulations to you and Jose!

Since then, Yulisa and Jose now both have full-time employment! They also have achieved their savings goal for buying a home – woohoo! Yulisa graduated from HopeHouse in October 2020, and her son, Abdiel is thriving in Elementary school!

Future goals: Getting her insurance license and pursuing a degree in fashion!

What advice would you give to a future JPP family? “To me, JPP wasn’t a program but it felt more like I had close friends. They make you feel like you can accomplish anything if you just get a little extra help and put that extra effort into it!”

We’re so excited for your future, Yulisa!

Yulisa & family!

Sheila & Ean

We celebrate Sheila and Ean, who have been with JPP since 2015!

Sheila and Ean joined JPP with goals in the areas of debt reduction, education, and employment! We are so proud to say that Sheila and Ean have accomplished and exceeded these goals – congratulations to you both for working so hard! Sheila earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2 years, and excelled as a student. She made the President’s Honor Roll, received a scholarship, and graduated Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.61!! Both Sheila and Ean have increased their income during their time with JPP, and have worked towards their goal of paying off debt.

Future goals: Sheila continuing her education, continuing to save and possibly purchasing a home in the future!

Biggest accomplishment since joining JPP? “I am proud that I was able to reach within myself!”

What advice would you give to a future JPP family? “There are no goals that are not important. They can be as small or as large as you make them.”

Sheila, Ean and family!

Inez

We celebrate Inez! Inez joined JPP in 2018, and has had some incredible accomplishments since then!

During her time with JPP, Inez achieved her employment and financial goals by getting a position at Headstart as a Family Support Specialist, and Inez has excelled in this role! Inez increased her income with this position, and was able to begin saving! Since then, Inez has started grad school working towards a Master’s of Social Work!

Future goals: Taking her clinicals become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker!

What advice would you give to a future JPP family? “Don’t be afraid to push yourself to achieve your goals!”

We’re so excited for your next steps, Inez!

We are so proud of you!

Jessica S.

Congratulations to Jessica and family!

Jessica has been part of the JPP family since the start, and has made big moves since then! In her time with JPP, Jessica has achieved her goals in the areas of relationships, health and wellness, education, and employment!

Jessica got remarried, graduated with a degree in Paralegal Studies, and bought a house – we’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished, Jessica! Jessica is currently a legal assistant and contracted paralegal, and seeks to serve the community in many ways! She is currently serving on the school board accountability committee!

Future goals: Jessica is thinking about running for the school board in her community!

What advice would you give to a future JPP family? “Get out of your own way and invest in yourself, your family, and the place you live. Do everything with a purpose and the idea that you can’t fail.”

Jessica and family!

Raymond

Join us in celebrating Raymond and his family, who have been part of JPP since 2019!

Raymond joined the JPP community with a goal of re-employment! In his time with JPP, Raymond worked hard updating his resume, working with recruiters, and attending job fairs. We are proud to say that Raymond has since then achieved this goal, and has obtained a position in his field of IT – congratulations Raymond!

Future goals: planning/focusing on their children’s education, and beginning to invest!

What advice would you give to a future JPP family? “Take advantage of the resources and support available to you!”

We’re so excited to see what you and your family do next, Raymond!

Let's Celebrate!

JPP Family Successes!

Let the celebrations continue! Here at JPP, every success is worth celebrating! And it's baby steps that lead us to the big wins and accomplishments!

If you haven't already done so, think on the past year and tell your coach about a success, big or small, that you're proud of and want to share with the JPP community!

  • Maria A. – is running a thriving child care business and is serving the community with it!
  • Oli – will graduate with Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education in July!
  • Ed and Beverly – they have been going to family therapy; it’s been great for their family!
  • Alexis I. (teen) – got a job at a smoothie bar for the summer!
