 Support for Small Businesses

August 14, 2020

Dear Business and Community Partners;

Friday is the deadline to submit applications for the Jefferson County Small Business Sustainability Grant. Please see below for more information.

Jefferson County Public Health has upgraded their website with new information. A recording of Dr. Mark Johnson's COVID-19 update is available for download. Please refer to the links below to see relevant and localized information on how the Pandemic is affecting our community.

The schedule for Denver's Startup Week will be released Monday, August 17th. Opportunities for innovation and sharing ideas within the business community are more important than ever. The even will be incredibly accessible this year as the majority of content will be virtual and remote.

 Stay safe and informed.

Jefferson County Small Business Sustainability Grants

Applications Close TODAY

More information about the emergency grant program and the Sustainability Grant online application are located on the CARES Act Emergency Grant Program page on the Jefferson County website.  Once the submission period has closed, all applications will be evaluated, and funding recommendations provided to the Board of County Commissioners for consideration. Individual grant amounts will depend upon the number of applicants, availability of funds, and demonstrated need.

In support of our small business community, Jefferson County is providing a second grant opportunity for businesses that are in unincorporated Jefferson County. The Small Business Sustainability Grant program applications can be submitted through Friday, August 14. Businesses can apply for up to $10,000 to assist with COVID-19 related expenses.

Businesses who received funds from the Small Business Emergency Grant Program, which was the first grant program made available to small businesses by Jefferson County are eligible to apply for additional funds. The combined total of these grants cannot exceed $10,000 for any individual business.

Jefferson County Public Health Executive Director Dr. Mark Johnson will provide an update on the COVID-19 situation in Jeffco

You will be able to view the video on Jefferson County's website. Hearing videos are normally posted within 24 hours.

The numbers are starting to trend downward, but it's important that we continue wearing masks, frequently washing hands and limiting social interactions to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Jefferson County.

Visit the Case Summary page on the Jefferson County Public Health website to view updated graphs with COVID-19 data.
