Volunteers Needed for Point in Time Survey

Everyone Counts?is the annual Point in Time Survey led by Metropolitan Denver Homeless Initiative (MDHI) across the seven-county metro Denver region. This year the count will be held on January 27th and the 28th.

The Point in Time generates a snapshot of homelessness on a single night, and raises public awareness, promotes collaboration across seven counties, provides needed data, helps us apply for increased housing funds, and reminds the community that Everyone Counts!   

We are recruiting volunteers to work alongside service providers to conduct interviews with homeless individuals and families in emergency shelters, human service organizations, parks, riverbeds, and other places where homeless people congregate. 

Please review the available options at the volunteer sign-up page below and join us!  The options are listed by county, so if you are most interested in volunteering within Jefferson County, look for the shifts that start with “Jefferson."

A volunteer training is required and will help you learn how to administer the survey and give you time to practice with other staff and volunteers. See MDHI’s Everyone Counts page for a list of volunteer trainings, listed by County.
