Kathleen Boutain, DOB: 3-17-94, has been returned to Colorado to faces charges in the death of 63-year-old Mitchell Ingle in Golden in 2017.
On October, 2017 Golden police were dispatched to the Clear Creek RV Park on a welfare check. They found Mr. Ingle deceased in his RV. They also found that Mr. Ingle’s vehicle and some of his property was missing. Mr. Ingle died on October 27, 2017.
The investigation led to arrest warrants being issued for Kathleen Boutain and her husband, Austin Boutain, in the death of Mitchell Ingle.
Kathleen and Austin Boutain were arrested in Utah on October 31, 2017. She has been in custody in Utah since that time. She faced local charges in Utah and was also being held on a warrant out of Jefferson County.
Kathleen Boutain was extradited from Utah and arrived at the Jefferson County jail on the morning of October 1. She is expected to appear in court before the end of the week.
The filing of criminal charges is merely a formal accusation that an individual has committed a crime(s). A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See RPC 3.6
