McIntyre Street between W. 56th Place and W. 58th Avenue will receive the final asphalt layer on Monday, September 16 and Tuesday, September 17 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on both days. Motorists should expect frequent traffic shifts, flagger control and increased travel delay. Final striping is scheduled for Saturday, September 21. This schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change.
The contractor anticipates completing work in the canal and landscape restoration along the roadway this month. Infrequent daytime lane closures are possible during finishing work. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office will continue speed enforcement during and after the project.
