McIntyre Street will be closed to traffic from just north of W. 55th Avenue to south of W. 58th Avenue from 5:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19 through 5:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22.
This full closure will allow the contractor to expedite asphalt paving of McIntyre Street. Crews will perform final grading, construct the top layer of asphalt on much of the corridor and move traffic into the final alignment. Implementing a full closure over the weekend reduces prolonged traffic impacts on weekdays.
All through traffic is prohibited except for emergency responders. Access to adjacent parcels will be maintained and a signed detour route will be provided.
