Brandon Wayne York, DOB: 7-22-82, was sentenced to six years in prison for a string of bank robberies in Lakewood and Arvada in February, 2019.
Between February 15 and February 27, 2019 York robbed four banks in Lakewood and one in Arvada. Lakewood police, working with the FBI Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, arrested Mr. York and the second man on February 27, 2019. The second man was also charged and his case is pending.
The total losses to the four banks was over $18,000.
Mr. York pled guilty on April 22, 2019 to two counts of Robbery (F4). He was sentenced to three years prison in each case, with the sentences running consecutive to each other.
