Commissioners Celebrate Long-time County Employees

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners took time out at the hearing on March 26, 2019 to recognize employees who have served the county for 25 years or more.

Commissioner Libby Szabo told the crowd that beginning this year, once a quarter, they will come together to celebrate these employees that show such commitment and dedication.

“We know that each of you represent different areas of the county, but that you all have one thing in common – a dedication to serving the people of Jefferson County,” said Commissioner Szabo in her remarks. “We know the commitment, the long hours and the efforts you make every day and we want to say thank you!”

There were a total of 18 employees being celebrated at this event, including two that have already retired:

  • Pamela Bell, 25 years of service, Public Health
  • Dennis Condreay, 25 years of service, Facilities Management
  • Isabel Diaz, 25 years of services, Child Support Program
  • Terry Donley, 25 years of service, Road and Bridge
  • Dora Williams, 30 years of service, Assessor’s Office
  • Karen Foster, 30 years of service, Community Assistance Division
  • Ralph Gallegos, 30 years of service, JCSO Criminal Investigations
  • Robert Ryberg, 30 years of service, JCSO Detentions
  • James Murrow, 30 years of service, JCSO Detentions
  • Tom Nickoles, 30 years of service, JCSO Detentions
  • Aaron Fosler, 30 years of service, JCSO Law Enforcement
  • James Valbert, 30 years of service, JCSO Law Enforcement
  • Dana Easter, 30 years of service, District Attorney Administration
  • Douglas Tait, 30 years of service, Sheriff’s Office
  • Wayne Holverson, 35 years of service, Sheriff’s Office
  • Catherine Bortles, 35 years of service, Public Trustee’s Office
  • Steven Stalter, 35 years of service, JCSO Law Enforcement
  • Philip Tresnak, 35 years of services, Road and Bridge
