Two men appeared in Jefferson County court on March 8, 2019 where they were sentenced for a string of robberies at King Soopers stores in Lakewood.
Valentin Justin Arrastia, DOB:10-16-81, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for eleven robberies at three different stores in Lakewood and Arvada between July 2017 and January 2018.
Arrastia robbed two Lakewood King Soopers stores a total of nine times during that six-month period. He robbed one store in Arvada twice. In each of the robberies, Arrastia would approach the service desk and put a note on the counter demanding money and announcing the robbery.
Arrastia pled guilty to four counts of class 4 felony Robbery.
Kellen Thomas Hobbs, DOB: 7-14-82, was sentenced to six years in prison for his role in the crime spree. Hobbs pled guilty to one count of Robbery, a class 4 felony. He was the getaway driver in five of the robberies.
