Power of Partnership (POP) is a partnership between faith-based organizations and Jefferson County government agencies that weaves together faith organizations to be better and stronger for the communities they serve. Since 2006, this partnership has established trusting, working relationships in which each can call on the other to assist an individual in need or address a larger community concern.
Through Power of Partnership, homeless families and individuals have been served, foster children cared for, families kept together with a strong sense of hope, and seniors cared for in amazing ways. None of this would be possible without the faith community.
Power of Partnership Plus will gather faith and government leaders for a conversation around collaboration and building connection on Thursday, February 21st at the Jefferson County Human Services Building, 900 Jefferson County Parkway in Golden.
This event will include faith-based organizations and government agencies to discuss the issues, challenges, and successes happening in geographic church areas.
If you are a faith leader interested in becoming involved or if you have a connection with a faith leader, register to attend at pop-plus-2019.eventbrite.com.
