Amber Nicole Price, DOB: 10-3-83, appeared in Jefferson County District Court today where she was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the brutal stabbing of 43-year-old Timothy Seaver in January, 2018. Price pled guilty on July 9 to Conspiracy to Commit Murder (F2) and one violent crime count.
Price is the last of three people to be sentenced in the stabbing. Daniel Scott Watts, DOB: 10-13-85, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for Attempted Murder on July 11. Erik Dwayne Dowling, DOB: 9-6-91, was sentenced to ten years in prison for Aggravated Intimidation of a Witness (F3) on October 15.
On January 11, 2018 Price and Watts were staying with friends at the Denver West Motel when Seaver texted Price in the middle of the night, asking for a ride from the Denver County jail. Amber Price had previously received a call from her boyfriend, Erik Dowling, who was in custody at the Jefferson County jail, about Seaver snitching on Price’s sister. Price asked Watts to go with her to pick up Seaver and confront him about being a “snitch”. They picked him up and gave him a ride to 5555 W. 16th in Lakewood, Watts got out of the car and attacked Seaver, stabbing him 11 times.
This is Erik Dowling’s third felony conviction. Daniel Watts was on parole at the time of this office and has three prior felony convictions.
