First Judicial District Attorney Pete Weir announced today that charges have been filed in the death of 61-year-old Julene Isaacson at her home in Morrison. Jerald Arthur Cross, DOB: 1-3-54, has been charged with First Degree Murder (F1) and two violent crime counts.
On October 7, 2018 the Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to 5288 Pintail Court in Morrison where they found that Ms. Isaacson had suffered a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jerald Cross, who also lived at the house, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and transported to the Jefferson county Jail.
He was in court on October 15 when he was advised of his rights. He is due back in court on October 25, at 1:30. He remains in custody at the Jefferson County jail and is being held without bail.
The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual has committed a crime(s). A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo. RPC 3.6
