Guilty Plea in Arvada Vehicular Homicide

Troy Steven Glassford, DOB: 10-9-78, appeared in Jefferson County District Court earlier this week where he pled guilty in the vehicular homicide death of 43-year-old Nathan Osburn.


On January 10, 2018 Arvada police were called to the area of Pomona Drive and Quay Drive on the report of a pedestrian having been hit by a car. When police arrived they found that the vehicle driven by Mr. Glassford had been driving eastbound on Pomona drive when it left the roadway, crashed through a fence and then a shed, running over Mr. Osburn in the process.


Mr. Osburn died from his injuries.


Mr. Glassford pled guilty Vehicular Homicide – DUI (F3) and one habitual criminal count on July 23. Sentencing has been scheduled for September 10 at 1:15 in Division 12. He faces a minimum sentence of 36 years in prison.
