On January 25, 2018 at 10:10 p.m., deputies responded to Crossroads Pizza & Wings Bar, 16 Mt. Evans Blvd in Pine Junction reference a fight between three males. Prior to arrival, the two suspects in the fight had left the scene. The victim suffered serious bodily injury and was air-lifted to the hospital.
When the fight began the victim, Richard Warry Brown (dob 121678) was holding his 4-year-old daughter. Numerous punches were thrown prior to someone in the bar taking the child from Brown, and the fight continued. The child was not injured. Brown was later issued a summons for misdemeanor child abuse.
One of the suspects has not been identified. He is described as white, 5’8”, thin, and in his mid-20’s.

The second suspect, Joel Michael Wilson (dob 071586), has been arrested and is being held at the Jefferson County Jail for suspicion of First Degree Assault-Extreme Indifference, Second Degree Assault – Serious Bodily Injury, and Child Abuse.
