An Arvada man has been charged in the vehicular homicide death of 43-year-old Nathan Osburn. Troy Steven Glassford, DOB:10-9-78, was charged with Vehicular Homicide-DUI (F3); Vehicular Homicide-Reckless (F4); DUI (M); Reckless Driving (T2); and Driving on Sidewalk (TIA).On January 10, Arvada police were called to the area of Pomona Drive and Quay Drive on the report of a pedestrian having been hit by a car. According to the arrest affidavit, when police arrived they found that the vehicle driven by Mr. Glassford had been driving eastbound on Pomona drive when it left the roadway, crashed through a fence and then a shed, running over Mr. Osburn in the process.Mr. Osburn died from his injuries.Mr. Glassford was arrested on January 10 and bond was set in the amount of $20,000. He posted bond on January 19. He has until January 25 to schedule a preliminary hearing.
The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual has committed a crime(s). A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo. RPC 3.6
