Law Enforcement Agencies Partner to Target Drunk Driving in JeffCo

DUI saturation

On Friday night, September 22, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will be working in conjunction with Colorado State Patrol and the Metro DUI Task Force to perform a countywide DUI saturation. The task force will consist of officers from Aurora, Denver, and Northglenn Police Departments. Although the saturation is countywide, specific enforcement will be along S. Wadsworth Blvd. and W. Bowles Ave. corridors.

We are combining multiple agency efforts for the goal of sending a message that driving under the influence anywhere in the Denver metro area will not be tolerated.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and its law enforcement partners are committed to reducing the number of drunk drivers and alcohol-related accidents in Jefferson County, and we encourage everyone to drive safely and responsibly this Saturday and always.
