Final Numbers for Jefferson County's Slash Program

Thank you to all citizens who mitigated fire danger on your property by clearing out tree debris and disposing of the 'slash' at our collection sites.

From May through November, citizens brought 4,966 truckloads of slash to collection sites around the county. This equates to nearly 30,000 cubic yards of potential wildfire fuel that was removed from properties by our citizens. We appreciate the efforts you all made to help reduce wildfire danger in Jeffco!

The Slash Program is now complete for 2017 but check back on our Slash Collection web page for dates for the 2018 season
