The Jefferson County Power of Partnership recently made a commitment to help infants in Jefferson County have a safe place to sleep. According to the Colorado Child Fatality Prevention program, sleep related infant deaths are the third leading cause of infant death in Colorado. The Jefferson County Power of Partnership has created a Pack 'N Play Challenge to help meet this need for local families. By donating a Pack 'N Play, you will make a difference in the life of an infant.
Jefferson County Dept. of Human Services and Jefferson County Head Start are drop off points for 50 new (yes, that's 50!) Pack 'N Plays to provide safe sleep situations for infants. What a wonderful holiday gift, and one that saves lives. Pack 'N Play purchase prices start at around $40 both online and at many local retailers. Gift Cards are also welcomed and will be used towards the purchase of Pack 'N Plays or diapers.
Please share this article, and consider partnering with a friend or a co-worker to help save lives by donating a new Pack 'N Play between now and January 15th. Pack 'N Plays and gift cards can be dropped off at Jefferson County Human Services, 900 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, CO, 80401 between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. or at Arvada Head Start 5150 Allison St. Arvada, CO, 80002 from 7:30 am to 4 pm.
