Shelter Information:

  • Heading Home - a collaboration of individuals, public service, and faith-based organizations from the community determined to end homelessness in Jefferson County. 
  • Severe Weather Shelter Network - SWSN provides emergency overnight shelter on life-threatening winter nights for the single individuals living on the streets in West Arapahoe and Jefferson counties.
  • Extreme Weather Overflow Shelter - To help supplement the Severe Weather Shelter Network when weather conditions pose a significant threat to the health and safety of vulnerable residents, the City of Lakewood opened its first Extreme Weather Overflow Shelter in 2023.
