Beginning the week of June 19, Xcel Energy will relocate gas service for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Mountain Precinct located at 4990 Jefferson County Highway 73.
There will be minor impacts to parking facilities at the sheriff’s office. Library parking and access will not be affected.
Utility work will also occur on the shoulder of northbound Highway 73 as crews tie into the gas main line just north of Buffalo Park Road.
Traffic will be maintained in both directions of Highway 73. The dual northbound left turn lanes from Buffalo Park Road will be reduced to a single lane. Daytime work on Highway 73 will be limited to Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is expected to continue through mid-July.
