Colonel Don Davis assumed the role of Jefferson County Manager on Monday, May 1, reporting directly to the Board of County Commissioners. He joins the county after a 27-year career serving in the United States Marine Corps.Jefferson County Commissioner and Board Chair Libby Szabo said, “Davis brings a strong commitment to the values guiding the county. He has the ideal combination of leadership and experience, and we are confident in his ability to successfully guide staff in achieving the county’s vision.”“I look forward to working with the great team at Jefferson County and continuing a legacy of service to the residents here in the front range,” Davis said. “JeffCo has a bright future and I am excited to work together with the Board of County Commissioners and the JeffCo employees to ensure the community thrives long into the future and is Colorado’s county of choice.”
Davis is a graduate of the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and he holds two Master's Degrees; one in Public Administration from Webster University and a second Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the Marine Corps War College.
