Jefferson County is getting a new look! The county has recently developed a new brand in an effort to better serve its citizens.
Throughout the process of creating the new brand, Jefferson County gathered citizen feedback to help define what citizens think about living and working in Jeffco. Core values of responsiveness, innovation, integrity, health and well-being and stewardship, were identified and drove the development of the new Jefferson County brand.
The traditional green seal has been updated to a fresh new logo that symbolizes the natural beauty and open spaces we enjoy in Jefferson County, which positively impacts the health and well-being of our residents and visitors. You see the mountains, rolling hills and bright blue skies. The grid on the bottom portion of the logo symbolizes the county’s vibrant communities, infrastructure, our range of services and transportation. The grid was taken from an aerial view of roads in Jeffco.
Creating consistency across county services through a unified Jefferson County brand will help citizens more easily identify the services they need. The new county brand will allow citizens to easily differentiate between official county programs and services and the organizations that operate separately from the county.
As we move forward in 2017, citizens can expect another big change that will improve their experience when interacting with Jefferson County. Changes to the county’s website are being developed and the refreshed site will launch in the fall. The website will be mobile responsive and allow citizens to access the services they need from any device. In addition to being mobile responsive, the website design will make finding services easier and quicker.
