For the sixth election in a row, Jefferson County finished counting 99% of ballots on Election Night.
Jeffco had a total of 138,135 ballots returned thus far. More than 98% of voters submitted their mail ballot while fewer than 2% voted in person. The vast majority of voters used one of the county’s secure, 24-hour drop boxes—Jeffco increased the number of boxes from 15 to 36 over the last three years.
Once the counting process is finished next week, Jeffco will participate in a rigorous statewide audit to ensure the accuracy of all results.
