Jeffco Open Space (JCOS) is excited to announce a pilot program giving park visitors the opportunity to take advantage of reduced fares from rideshare company Lyft, in hopes of helping with parking congestion at some of our busiest Front Range trailheads and access points. JCOS wants to help improve access to our parks while encouraging alternative transportation and reducing congestion at our trailheads or parking areas.

Use discount code JCOS2021 at the following pilot program locations:

  • Mount Falcon Park – Morrison Trailhead (shows up as Mount Falcon Park East Trailhead in Google): 3852 Vine Street, Morrison, CO 80465

  • Matthews/Winters Park Trailhead: 1103 County Rd 93, Golden, CO 80401

  • Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center: 16831 W Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO 80465

  • Van Bibber Park – East Trailhead: 5575 Ward Rd, Arvada, CO 80002

  • Van Bibber Park – West Trailhead: 5590 Indiana Court, Arvada, CO 80007

  • Crown Hill Park: 9357 West 26th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

  • North Table Mountain Park – West Trailhead: 4788 Highway 93, Golden, CO 80403

  • South Table Mountain Park – Camp George West Trailhead: 1219 Kilmer Street, Golden, CO 80401

  • South Table Mountain Park - Golden Hills Access: 16741 Golden Hills Road, Golden, CO 80401

  • White Ranch Park – East Trailhead: 21827 West 56th Avenue, Golden CO, 80403

This discount code allows Lyft users to take advantage of a $2.50 reduction in their fare each direction until mid-September 2022. Discounts will be valid during park hours, seven days a week, to the locations listed above. These locations were selected based upon visitor volume, available designated parking, reducing neighborhood/overflow parking, and illegal parking. Additional variables such as cell service and driver availability were also considered.

Based on the findings of the pilot program, JCOS will determine program longevity and potential expansion to serve more trailheads throughout our park system. Offering additional opportunities for those interested in visiting our parks without a personal vehicle, ultimately improving limited and un-safe parking conditions.
