Gary Crider pled guilty to twelve felony counts for the robberies of five banks
(Golden, CO – October 6, 2017) Gary Mark Crider, DOB: 2-16-67, appeared in Jefferson County Court on October 2, where he pled guilty to twelve felony counts for the robberies of five banks in the metropolitan Denver area. Crider pled guilty to two counts of Aggravated Robbery (F3); nine counts of Robbery (F4); and one count of Theft (F4).
Between December 9, 2016 and January 6, 2017 Crider robbed three banks in Jefferson County, one in Boulder County, and one in Adams County. The loss to the banks in Jefferson and Boulder counties was over $26,000. All five bank robberies were filed in Jefferson County.
The arrest of Crider resulted from a collaborative effort of the FBI’s Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF); the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office; the Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit; Westminster Police Department and SWAT; and the Louisville Police Department.
Crider was on parole in Colorado and on federal probation at the time of his arrest.
Sentencing has been set for November 27 at 1:00. Crider faces a sentencing range of from 34 to 44 years in prison. He is being held at the Jefferson County jail on $250,000 bond.
