JCPH Rescinds Public Health Order 21-004

Masking Indoors Remains Required Under Public Health Order 21-006

The Jefferson County Board of Health rescinded Public Health Order 21-004, which required use of face coverings indoors in all local government spaces. Currently, per Public Health Order 21-006, face coverings are required for everyone ages 3+ indoors in all public spaces, including local government spaces. Public Health Order 21-004 was rescinded to reduce unnecessary duplication in Public Health Orders, and there are no major changes for local government workers or the public.
