[ARCHIVED] Jeffco Gives Virtual Food Drive, June 1 – 22

2021 Food Drive image

The annual Jefferson County Employee* Food Drive is going community-wide this year as Jeffco Gives! Jeffco Gives will be kicking off next week on June 1 and will go a little longer this year, through June 22. Jeffco Gives is an opportunity to support local food banks and ultimately, support our neighbors, co-workers, and friends. We are continuing the 27 year tradition of serving our community by inviting both employees and the public to donate through an all monetary and virtual giving format.

Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and helps Jeffco families directly – every $25 provides 75 meals!

Last year, we raised 22,000 meals. This year’s goal is to raise 25,000 meals, from June 1 through 22, and will benefit five local food banks:

 Giving options:

  • Online through Jeffco Human Services Foundation webpage
  • Text GIVE to 720-513-1408. You will receive a link to complete your donation.
  • Send a check. More information is available on the giving page.

Help reach the goal by giving; we have the opportunity to make a great impact.

Thank you, Jeffco!

*The food drive has historically been an internal, employee drive to support our community. It is coordinated by a planning committee of Jefferson County employees including Human Services, Information Technology, and Public Affairs. All money collected will be distributed evenly to each food bank. Thank you to Jeffco Human Services Foundation for logistical support in distribution of funds.
