Grey Fox Drive will be closed to traffic from County Highway 73 to Grizzly Way from May 10 through June 18, 2021.
This emergency closure is due to a wash-out of the road. Construction will begin on May 17, 2021.
At the intersection of County Highway 73 and Grey Fox Drive, Jeffco's Road and Bridge Division will be replacing the culvert on Grey Fox Drive. This will involve removing the old culvert, installing a new culvert, constructing wing walls, and repaving the surface area.
A detour route is planned and message boards are in place and will be updated with the road closure information as needed. There is access to Grey Fox Drive north of the intersection of County Highway 73 and Malamute Drive, approximately .5 miles on County Highway 73. See the aerial view of the detour (PDF).
