The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners (BCC) is hosting a telephone town hall on Monday, May 17 at 6 p.m. We will be calling 50,000 randomly selected phone numbers to participate, but you don’t have to wait to see if you are chosen.
During this over-the-phone meeting, the commissioners will welcome Jeffco Public Health experts to discuss important COVID-19 updates including how we are doing with COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, public health orders and restrictions and vaccinations and testing. There will also be discussion on the countywide strategic plan and the budget as we start the process for 2022, and the American Rescue Plan Act funds that will be sent to Jeffco in the near future.
Most importantly, the commissioners want to hear from you. You can just listen in or you can ask the commissioners and county staff questions on the topics discussed. There is also a way to register your question before the meeting using our online form.
How to Participate:
• If you are not selected, you are still encouraged to participate by calling 855-695-3486.
• You can also preregister to receive a call by texting JEFFCO to 833-TXT-LIVE (833-898-5483).
Phone calls will be made to the pre-registered list and to randomly selected phone numbers in Jeffco. However, if you don't receive a call or pre-register, you may still participate. During the meeting, call 877-229-8493 and enter 110646. For more information, visit the town hall webpage.
