[ARCHIVED] New Drop Boxes at Jefferson County Administration and Courts Facility

Drop boxes were recently added to the desk just inside the main entrance of the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Facility, where citizens can drop off documents for various offices and departments. This option may come in handy on Fridays, when most Jefferson County offices are closed to the public. It is also where customers can drop documents while some offices are still by appointment only.

Below is a list of the types of documents that can be dropped off.

Assessor’s Office:
- Abatement Petitions
- Recording Documents
- Board of Equalization Documentation

Building Safety:
- Payments
- Permit Submittals
- Revised Drawings (8x10)

Clerk & Recorder:
- Liquor License Packets
- Motor Vehicle Documents (Tag Renewals, Handicap Placards)
- Recording Documents (Marriage/Civil Union Licenses, Land Recordings)

Community Service:
- Intake Paperwork
- Timesheets
- Certificates for Completed Classes

Human Resources:
- HR Related Documents

Planning & Zoning:
- Permit Documents

Pretrial Services:
- Payments (money order only)
- Signed Paperwork
- DO NOT LEAVE – Personal Checks, Cash

Transportation & Engineering:
- Permit Payments
- Original Signed Documents for Right of Way Acquisitions

Treasurer:
- Property Tax Payments
