April 18 through April 24 each year has been declared as National Volunteer Week. It is a time to celebrate volunteers, recognize their impact, and encourage volunteerism in our communities. Jeffco Open Space has been the natural choice for volunteering since 1972. Ever since a grassroots campaign resulted in the creation of our agency, volunteers have been pitching in for their parks – from helping to preserve natural resources and educating visitors to blazing new trails. Thank you to all of our hard working volunteers at Jeffco Open Space. We couldn’t accomplish all that we do without YOU!
