mountains

"Survive and thrive in your job search during COVID-19" is a 5 week, 3 hour per week accelerated work search series through Jefferson County’s Business & Workforce Center for displaced workers currently seeking employment. The series will help to enhance your marketability and hone your skills to secure desired employment.

Career transition can be a daunting task to overcome; to include resumes, social media, marketing statements, and virtual interviews. We want to assist you in getting back into the workforce and overcome today’s challenges effectively. We will be exploring alternative ways to identify opportunities of employment, and ways to increase networks.

Sessions will cover:

  • Discover what's holding you back and explore new possibilities
  • Explore new techniques for finding your next best opportunity
  • Recognize the power of a targeted resume and start getting interviews
  • Learn how to ace the interview whether it's by phone, in-person, or via Zoom
  • Understand the power of resiliency and make things happen

This series will be held each Thursday morning starting March 18th and ending April 15th from 9am to 12pm.
