Beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, the westbound lane of 50th Avenue will be closed to traffic from the driveways of Fairmount Elementary and Cornerstone Montessori School to McIntyre Street. On the morning of September 8, student drop-off and school bus access will be able to access the schools from both eastbound and westbound lanes.
After the westbound lane is closed, traffic can access both schools and the residential area via Easley Road. Refer to the attached detour map.

The westbound lane of 50th Avenue will remain closed for sidewalk construction from the school driveways to McIntyre Street until November 30.
Eastbound 50th Avenue will be restricted to access southbound McIntyre Street only for Phase 1 of construction while crews build storm drains and manholes in the intersection.
