"Survive and thrive in your job search during COVID-19" is a five-week, three-hour per week accelerated work search series through Jefferson County’s Business & Workforce Center for displaced workers currently seeking employment. The series will help to enhance your marketability and hone your skills to secure desired employment.
Career transition can be a daunting task to overcome; to include resumes, social media, marketing statements, and virtual interviews. We want to assist you in getting back into the workforce and overcome today’s challenges effectively. We will be exploring alternative ways to identify opportunities of employment, and ways to increase networks.
Sessions will cover:
- Self-Assessment - Gain an understanding of the qualities you have that employers are wanting in a candidate
- Understanding your Value - Setting goals and marketing yourself effectively to hidden opportunities
- Using Proven Job Search Techniques of the 21st Century - Step-by-step guidance to aid you in navigating today’s job market
- Getting Past the Interview - Develop your skills to nail the interview and secure the offer
- Virtual Sessions - Essential topics and meaningful activities conducted weekly
