As of 2:02 PM on August 8, 2017, the road is now open.
Temporary Road Closure of Lookout Mountain Road will be closed to traffic from Golden City Limit on the east end to Buffalo Bill’s Grave on the west end, Tuesday, August 8 from 9:30 am to noon, or until finished.
State Patrol will be doing a recovery of a vehicle with tow trucks.
No detour will be available.
