Golden, in partnership with Jefferson County and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), has completed a review of consulting firms that responded to a request for proposal and have selected Muller Engineering to be the lead consultant for the design of the US 6 and Heritage Rd interchange. Golden will host a virtual town hall to kick-off the design process for the US 6 & Heritage Road interchange on Wednesday, July 29 at 6:00 p.m.
The town hall will start with a presentation that provides background on the interchange and US 6 Corridor and information about the scope and timing of the design process. The meeting will use interactive tools so that participants can provide staff and the design team with input on the community’s desired outcomes from a new interchange and how the project can best meet Golden’s values and goals. The design team will use information gathered from the community in this meeting to start the design process and develop interchange alternatives for further community input.
