[ARCHIVED] Aging Well in Jefferson County

Aging Well

In June of 2019, Jefferson County was designated an Age-Friendly community by AARP and the World Health Organization’s Global Network for Age-friendly Cities and Communities. The Aging Well Project at Jefferson County continues to develop and implement strategies to create inclusive, livable communities through sustainable partnerships and integrated services. 

2019 brought many more accomplishments for Aging Well as they continued to advocate for the well-being of older adults. Learn more about Aging Well in Jefferson County, Colorado and how they are dispelling myths about the aging population in the 2019 Aging Well Annual Report.

How can you get involved?

Volunteer to serve on a workgroup. Moving forward, Aging Well will be setting and achieving the goals in their Action Plan. There will be a need for passionate, creative, and innovative folks to lead these efforts. For more on Aging Well visit
