The Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program provides housing assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS. In order to qualify for this program, you must have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and meet certain income standards. Currently, they are expanding their program and offering more funding for recipients in need of immediate housing assistance. It is important to note that program eligibility remains restricted to low-income people living with HIV and their families, but HOPWA has expanded documentation restrictions and can help you get funding for rent, mortgage, and utility assistance.
